About Us

The Crown King Depot’s history goes all the way back to the early 1900s, but our story begins in the 1970s when we first started coming up here as teenagers. We bought our cabin in 1997 and quickly embraced the community, serving with the Crown King Fire Department and supporting local fundraisers. In 2002, we purchased a burnt-out cabin on Main Street, secured commercial zoning, and now, 20 years later, we’re recreating the train depot on the original site of the Crown King Train Depot. We’ve faced plenty of obstacles: the pandemic, the tough winter of 2022–23, but with perseverance, great friends, and our deep belief in the Crown King community, we’re seeing it through!
